Kathy Dean Peak, age 53 of Sweetwater TN went to be with the Lord, Monday January 25, 2010 at Sweetwater Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late John Sweet and a native and resident of Sweetwater, TN all of her life. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father-in-law J.L Peak.

Survivors: Husband of 37 years, Bobby Peak Sweetwater, TN.  Mother: Evelyn Ervin Sweet of Sweetwater, TN.  Son and daughter-in-law: Casey and Heather Peak of Sweetwater, TN.  Two daughters: Amy Gilliard of Sweetwater, TN and Rebecca Rodriguez of Sweetwater, TN.  Two brothers an sister-in-law: Johnny Sweet of Niota, TN.  Jerry and Helen Sweet Sweetwater, TN.  Three sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda and Paul Myers Sweetwater, TN., Charlotte and Jerry Moore Sweetwater, TN., Melissa and Eugene Edgemon Philadelphia, TN.  Seven grandchildren & Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 8:00pm Wednesday Jan. 27, 2010 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Butler and Rev. Ronnie Rhea officiating.

Interment will be 11:00am Thursday at West View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home before the service.
