Billie Rose Robinson, 63, of Athens, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Rose Malone McNair. She was a member of Cedar Springs United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her stepfather, Gene Malone; and one granddaughter, Aliza Skye Robinson. She was retired from Athens Stove Works.

Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, William "Chip" and Jennifer McNair of London, Ky., John "Chris" and Lori McNair of Sunbright, Heath Matthews of Franklin, and Ben Robinson of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Sharon Malone of Athens; one sister and brother-in-law, Jena and Defoy Harris of Fayetteville, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Sam McNair, Luke McNair, Kayla Harris, Christopher Douglas, Brady Robinson, Neil Bostic, Marie Bostic, Ashley Bostic and Julia Bostic; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Ogle Wattenbarger officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
