Linda Hampton Vojtech, 64, of Athens, died Friday, March 26, 2010, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

A native and resident of Athens for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Luther E. Hampton and Willie Wyonna Teague Hampton Wiggins, and was preceded in death by her stepfather, J.L. Wiggins. She was a former employee of Epperson Hospital, Woods Memorial Hospital and Bradley Memorial Hospital, and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leon E. "Lee" Vojtech of Athens; two stepsons and one spouse, Bradley and Theresa Vojtech of Palm Coast, Fla., and Todd Vojtech of Jacksonville, Fla.; four stepdaughters and their husbands, Patricia and Charles Lynch of St. Augustine, Fla., Vicki Vojtech of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Leigh Vojtech of St. Augustine, Fla., and Lisa and Jhett Amesbury of Destin, Fla.; one brother-in-law, David Vojtech of Ralston, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Latham officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Eric Price, Scott Oliver, Chad Oliver, Rylan Oliver, Tommy Ellison, Ronnie Davis, Brad Vojtech, Todd Vojtech, Chett Hensley and Tyler Poe.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
