ALICE ANN LOCKMILLER WILLIAMS, age 54 of Athens, Tenn. died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at her residence.
She was born in Athens, Tenn. on March 30, 1955, and lived in the immediate area all her life. She was preceded in death by her Mother: Gertrude LaVerne Moses Miller on Sept. 24, 1991.
She graduated from McMinn County High School in 1973, and enjoyed being with family and working in her garden every spring and summer. She was retired from Tennessee Dept. of Human Services and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind her husband: Dan Paul Williams of Athens, Tenn. Her one and only child: Erin Irene Williams of Spring Hill, Tenn. Father: Arthur Creed "A. C." Lockmiller of Athens, Tenn., Two Brothers and their families: Creed Lockmiller and wife: Carolyn and their children Charlie and Cheryl and her Second Brother: Richard Lockmiller and wife: Mary Beth and his children: Mathew, John, and Kevin.
Funeral services 7:00 P. M. Thursday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Ogle Wattenbarger officiating.
Interment will be 11:00 A. M. Friday in Shell-Guffey Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends from 5-7 Thursday in the funeralhome.
