MARGARET SUSAN COLE RUSSELL, age 91 of Athens, Tenn. died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in Sweetwater Nursing Center in Sweetwater, Tenn.

A native of Eastman, Ga. and a former resident of Englewood, Tenn. and Athens, TN, she was a daughter of the late William Larry Cole and late Beulah Christian Cole Maddox, and was preceded in death by her husband, John Jewell Russell on July 15, 1989.

She was a member of Mt. Verd Baptist Church.  Survivors: One Son: John Douglas "Johnny" Russell of Sweetwater, Tenn.  One Brother: Charles Cole of Maryville, Tenn. Several nieces, nephews and cousins including: Larry Russell of Athens, Tenn.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday in McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. Ralph Sliger officiating.

Entombment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.

The family will recieve friends from 10:00 A. M. to 10:45 A. M. Saturday.
