Rebecca Louise Torbett Parrott, age 85 of Athens, passed away, Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Life Care Center of Athens.
A native and life-long resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Carl Small and Minnie Mae Stiles Allen Torbett and was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Clyde Junior Parrott; 2 brothers, Bobby Torbett and James Allen; 2 Sisters, Ruby Smith and Ann Marie Croft; 2 brothers-in-law, Jimmy Miller and Wayne Shell.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a former employee of the Athens City School System as a Cook in the cafeteria of City Park School for 5 years.
She was an avid fan of Lady Vols Basketball.

1 Son, Rodney Parrott of Athens;
1 daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Scott Oliver of Athens
2 sisters, Ann Miller of Athens and Juanita Shell of Athens;
2 grandchildren and spouse; Chad & Stephanie Oliver and Alyssa Parrott;
Special Friends, Faye Wallace of Cleveland;
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2022 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert Sneed officiating. Active pallbearers will be Mike Shell, Michael Jackson, Randy Hill, Randy Hall, Greg Hall and Ricky Holliday. Honnorary pallbearers will be Jeff Sams, Cliff Sams, Steve Wallace and Tommy Donegan.
