Alda Bryan Stewart, age 88 of Athens passed away, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Athens..
A native and life-long resident of McMinn County, she was a daugter of the late Roma and Bertha Pickle Bryan. She was a member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of Morning Pointe Church. She was a former registrar of the McMinn County Election Commission.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday February 16, 2018, in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Charla Sherbakoff and Rev. Carl Creasman officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis Baker, Colin Choat, Matthew Bonds, Will Stewart, Josh Yates and Adam Moses.
Memorial contributions maybe made to Allen Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Decatur Pike, Athens, Tenn. 37303.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.
