Ana Marie Powers

Ana Marie Randolph Powers, age 92 of Athens passed away, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at LifeCare Center of Athens.
A native and life-long resident of Athens she was a daughter of the late Jesse Edward and Alice Jane Bandy Randolph and was preceded in death by her husband Carl "Sonny" Powers; 2 brothers, Bob Randolph, Don Randolph; 1 sister,Ruth Burnette.
She was a member of Union Hill Baptist church and was a former employee of Morgan Manufacturing where she was an excellent seamstress.
She was also a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors:
1 brother, Jerry Botsford  of Rome, GA;
2 daughters and son-in-law Sheila and Freddie Womac and Connie Lynn;
3 sons and daughter-in-law, Allen Powers, Kenny and Jenny Powers, Ricky Powers.  
Grandchildren, Carla (Danny) Roberts, Michael (Sheila) Watson, Cayla (Christian) Medder, Shannon (Jeff) Graves, Mark Lynn, Brian (Amy) Powers, Cheryl (Shane) Robertson, Prissy (Bod) Brock, Josh (Lauren) Powers, Kyle and Matthew Rowland, Brandon King and Brandon (Naynee) Cardwell.
A host great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at McMinn Memory Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Michael Watson, Mark Lynn, Brian Powers, Josh Powers, Danny Roberts and Dylan Plaster.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
