Augustine "Tina" Carver Holbert

AUGUSTINE "TINA" CARVER HOLBERT,  age 85 of Athens, Tenn. a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister  passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn. , a daughter of the late Lit "L.J." and Katy Byrd Carver, preceded in death by her husband of 48 years: Charles Edwin Holbert, Grandson: David Brian Tilley, Jr, Four Brothers: Jim Carver, Boyd "Boots" Carver, Jack Carver and Charles Carver.  She was a former employee of Harrod's Grocery and Walmart and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include:

•  Son: Charles E. Holbert, Jr. of Athens, Tenn. 
• Daughter and son-in-law: Judy and David Tilley of Oak Ridge, Tenn.,
• Two Sisters: Uvina McCallister of Detroit, Mich. and Dorothy Haney of Athens, Tenn.
• Three Sisters-in-law: Eileen Carver, June Carver and Helen Carver, 
•  Three Grandchildren: Brooke and Thomas Satkowiak, Jamie Tilley, Katy Tilley,
• One Great Grandson: Joshua McCann,
• Several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in McMinn Memory Gardens with Thomas Satkowiak officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.
