Beulah Mae Moses Chandler, age 85 of Union City, GA passed away, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Southwest Christian Care Hopspice Facility.
A native and resident of Athens most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Russell Harvey and Sallie Snider Moses, and was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Virginia Graham and Joyce Moses.
She was a member of East Athens Baptist Church and was owner and operator of Madison Ave. Beauty Salon. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and raising orchids. She was an avid crafter and loved to paint.
Survivors:
1 Daughter, Sydney Chandler Derington of Douglasville, GA;
2 grandsons, Sam Derington and Matthew Derington both of Douglasville, GA;
1 sister, Elsie Rollins of Riceville;
Several nieces and nephews
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Friday, March 6, 2020 at McMinn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-1 pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to those along the way especially her neighbors for taking care of her over the years.
