Blake Joseph Weckman passed away on May 20, 2022 beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.
Blake was born on November 5, 2002 in Brandon, FL and was a resident of Lithia, FL. Blake moved to Englewood, TN in 2017 where he attended McMinn Central High school and graduated from Tellico Plains High School in 2021. Blake was full of life, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Blake never met a stranger. He loved fishing, and being outdoors. Blake had a contagious smile and a big heart and was always eager to make you laugh. Blake loved spending time with his nieces, Addison and Opal which he claimed the name “Uncle Blakie Poo”. Blake was a bright spark and had a huge personality, even though his time on earth was cut tragically short.
Blake is survived by his parents, Darlene and John Wheeler, Eric Weckman, and his siblings Victoria Jenkins, Michael Wheeler, Abbie Wheeler and Ayden Weckman. His nieces, Addison Barnett and Opal Hatmaker. His grandparents, Kevin and Renee’ Grooms, great-grandmother, LuElla Simmons and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Blake was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church and had gotten saved by our Lord Jesus Christ and Savior on October 14, 2012 in Plant City, FL. Blake will be sorely missed but know that we will see him again in Heaven.
