CHARLES TONY CARVER, age 59 of Niota, Tenn. ;passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Turkey Creek Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn. , and was a son of the late Charles Melvin and Juanita Kelso Carver. He was a former employee of Athens Furniture Co. and Heil Corp. He was a member of East Niota Baptist Church. Tony loved to farm.
Survivors: Wife of 34 years: Tammy Dilbeck Carver of Niota, Tenn. Daughter and Son-in-law: Samantha and Jon Case of Niota, Tenn., Son and Daughter-in-law: Matt and Ashli Arden of Seiverville, Tenn., Sister and Brother-in-law: Helen and Jack Baert of Athens, Tenn., Brother-in-law and wife: Pete Dilbeck and Shelia of Niota, Tenn., Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: David and Billie Ruth Dillbeck of Niota, Tenn. Four Grandchildren: Zoey Case, Bryanna Case, Dalton Case, and Connor Arden, Several nieces and nephews. He was also a special "Pop-Pop" to Pasley Case.
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Plaster officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in Niota Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jack Baert, Jon Case, Dalton Case, Tracy Harmon, Eddie Willis, Mike McGee, and Christian Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Beth, Karen, Adrienne, Tammy, and Leah.
