Clarence Mitchell "Old Man" Pickle, age 70 of Charleston, passed away, Thursday, February 14, 2019 at his residence.
A native of McMinn County and resident of Charleston for most of his life, he was a son of the late, James Edward and Otha Bradley Pickle and was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Teretha Wheeler Pickle; 2 brothers R.B. Pickle, James Pickle and 3 sisters Geneva Browder, Margaret Caldwell, Pauline Edwards.
A member of Mt. Lebaon Baptist Church, he was retired from Taylor Pittsburg after more than 30 years of service.
He was an avid hunter, loved football, planting gardens and his animals.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to Dr. Nathan Trentham for his kindess and caring of Clarence.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Lanetown Cemetery in Niota with Pastor George Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM prior to the service at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be his nephews and church family.
