Danny David Newman

DANNY DAVID NEWMAN,  age 79 of Dandridge, Tenn. passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, in Victoria, Texas. He was a native and long resident of McMinn County, Tenn. son of the late Hubert William and Ruth Price Newman and preceded in death by his Wife: Carole Wiseman Newman, Grandson: Mack Trinity Newman, Two Brothers: Marvin Newman and Carl Owen Newman. He worked for Mayfield Dairy for 20 years before becoming a New York Life Insurance Agent. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church. He served in the U. S. National Guard. He was a former member of Athens Hiking Club and avid Tennessee Vols Fan.

Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Julie and Mark Roberts of Athens, Tenn., , Two Sons and Daughters-in-law: Bryant and Cynthia Newman of Knoxville, Tenn., Chris and Misty Newman of Athens, Tenn,  Six Grandchildren: Matthew Roberts, Mitchell (Emma)  Roberts, Madilyn Shea Newman, Addisyn Newman, Hannah (Blake)  Moore, and Kendall Newman. Great Grandson: James Worth Roberts, , his dog: Sophie, Brother: Mike and Angie Newman of Athens, Tenn, several nieces.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in McMinn Memory Gardens with Mark Roberts and Raymond Barr officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Matthew Roberts, Blake Moore, Mitchell Roberts.
