Darrell Lee Crisp, age 63 of Athens, TN passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Parkwest Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Darrell was of the late Paul and Ruby Mae Redmon Crisp. He was a retiree from the McMinn County Landfill, where he was a heavy machine operator. He was a member of Five Point Baptist Church of Decatur. Darrell loved to do karaoke and sing many different songs throughout the surrounding counties. He loved spending time with family at Watts Bar lake. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Darrell was preceded in death by two brothers; Michael Crisp of Athens, Wayne Crisp of Athens. Grandparents; Dessie and Kelly Crisp of Decatur. Jessie and Rachel Redmon of Frankfort Kentucky.

Wife; Jennifer Crisp of Athens. Daughters; Amy Crisp of Athens. Erica Crisp and Clayton Taylor of Athens. Son and daughter in law; Zach and Tiffany Crisp of Athens. Brother; Thomas Crisp. Best Uncle; Leon Redmon. Several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles

Funeral Services will be 7:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2024 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Curtis Walden officiating.
