David Michael Cranfield, age 57 current resident of Knoxville and a native of McMinn County passed away on May 17, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Royce Dean Cranfield.
David graduated from McMinn County High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Desert Storm. He was a former employee of Mills Products for more than 20 years. He was a member of Pope Avenue Baptist Church and the Athens Masonic Lodge.
In his difficult battle with cancer, David was lovingly and faithfully cared for by his family. David was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Survivors:
His mother and step-father, Myrna and Bill Cannon of Knoxville;
Stepmother, Violet Cranfield of Maryville;
Sisters, Patti Cranfield and Glenda Johnson of Knoxville
Friend, Joe Cranfield;
Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins
Funeral Services will be 7:00 PM Friday, May 20, 2022 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Vic King officiating.
Graveside services will be 9:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2022 at McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. Those unable to attend may send condolences to www.laycock-hobbs.com/obituaries/David-Cranfield.
