Delores Ann Cronan

Delores Ann Cronan, age 74, of Riceville passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. A native of  Monroe County and a resident of McMinn County for 50 years, she was the daughter of the late Junior Lee and LuDora McJunkins Farrell. She was a member of Eastanallee Baptist church for 24 years where she enjoyed the exercise class with the ladies of Eastanallee. She loved to spend time with her granddaughters, who are identical 7 year old twins, and referred to her as the " the best Nana in the world."  She enjoyed volunteering at Athens Hospital and Willow Acres. She loved art and enjoyed taking art classes. She  was preceded in death by her husband, James Melton Cronan (Nov. 16, 2003) and brother Johnny Farrell.
Survivors include;
Son and daughter-in-law, Michael  and Crystal Cronan of Riceville; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffaney and Mitchell Reagan of Soddy Daisy. Granddaughters, Trinity and Katie: bonus granddaughter, Autumn; and great nephew,  Brayden Barber whom she loved as a grandson; brother, Jerry Farrell of Sweetwater; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and James McGaha of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews and favorite dog, "Brownie"
Funeral services will be 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Eastanallee Baptist Church with the Rev. Nick Farrell officiating. The interment will be at Eastanallee cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Saturday before the service at the church.
