Diana Cranfield, age 67 of Riceville, passed away Saturday, May 15. 2021 at her residence. A native of Cleveland and a resident of Riceville all of her life, she was a member of Eastanallee Baptist Church for over 40 years and a retiree of Farm Service Agency of Athens, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother and grammy, and was fully vested in all their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Lynn Cranfield (January 26, 2009); and father Clyde Lee Weir.
Survivors include: Son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Emily Cranfield of Atlanta, Georgia; Daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Aaron Pannell, of Riceville; Grandchildren, Gracey Pannell, Ethan Pannell, Bella Lynn Pannell, Brianna Lane Pannell, Mother, Mary Elizabeth Blevins Weir of Riceville Brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Janice Weir of Calhoun, TN; Nieces and nephews, Tracie Little, Treva Maitland, Ashley Cummings, Seth Cranfield, Tonya Howard, Rebecca Weir, Donnie Lee Weir.
Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Pastor Scotty Blevins officiating. The interment will be 11:00 am Thursday, May, 20, 2021 at Eastanallee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Lovingood, Jason Lovingood, Seth Cranfield, Donnie Lee Weir, Brent Harbin, and Chris Harbin. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home before the service.
