Doris Magdalene Hefner

Doris Magdalene Priest Hefner, age 99, of Cleveland, TN was at home surrounded by her loving family when she passed from this world to be with our Lord Jesus on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Hefner, her sons Ralph Leroy Hefner and Kenneth Monroe Hefner, son-in-love, Tommy Graham, her brothers Edward, Johnny, Charles and Bonnard Priest and her sisters Leacy Townsend, Jessie Bostic and Mattie Quintrell.
Doris was born on February 21, 1923 to Hoyle and Myrtle Priest in Woodstock, GA.  She married her husband Robert Hefner at the age of fourteen.  They built a joyous life together leaving a legacy of love and family to five generations.  Doris' favorite things in life were caring for her family and loving and serving Jesus.  She was an active member of Bellefounte Baptist Church and was always ready to share a testimony about her Lord.
She is survived by her sister Diane Brock, brother, Hoyle Priest, her son J.C.
(Rebecca) Hefner, daughters, Mary Graham, Brenda (Charlie) Coffey, and daughters-in-love, Laura Hefner and Debbie Hefner.
A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 9:30 AM, Friday, July 8, 2022 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. Lake Walker officiating.  The family would like to express a very special thank you to Doris' nurse Amanda Pope, her CNA Abbie both of Hearth Hospice and her caregiver Kristine Burns for the loving care and compassion they showed her.
