Doyle E. Cain

Doyle E. Cain, age 83, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024. A native of McMinn County, and a resident of Murfreesboro the past three years, he was the son of the late Clifford and Josephine Johnson Cain. He was a member of Good Springs Baptist Church, and retired from J.M. Huber Chemical Company. He was a member of the Grand Lodge Free and Acccepted Masons of Tennessee , Etowah No. 653. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Cain and Maxine Cain.

Survivors include,

One daughter and son-in-law; Donna Cain-Adams and Warren T. Johnson of Murfreesboro; grandchildren and spouses, Tristan Adams and Zack Cerda, Lance and Melissa Adams; great-grandchildren, Ruth and Eleanor Cerda; many cousins, classmates and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, August 19, 2024 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Bill Lee officiating. The interment will follow at Riceville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Lance Adams, Warren T, Johnson III, Dr. Warren T. Johnson II, Zachary Cerda, Jeff Combs, and Christopher Broyles. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Monday at the funeral home before the service.
