EFFALEDA OVERSTREET LEE, age 80 of Athens, former resident of Niota, Tn. passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Morning Pointe of Athens. A native of and lifelong resident of McMinn County, daughter of the late Fred Willard and Anna Ruth Willis Overstreet preceded in death by ;Husband: Robert F. Lee. Sister: Francis Annette Pressley and great nephew: James William Clark.. She was a member of Niota United Methodist Church and was active with McMinn Senior Citizen Center. Survivors: Sister and Brother-in-law: Jean and Ray Harris of Athens, Tn. and Brother-in-law: Jimmy Pressley of Decatur, Tenn., two nieces: Teresa and Lee Whitener, Kim and Corey Schiestel, nephew: Scotty Clark

Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Westview Cemetery in Sweetwater, TN. with Rev. Alex Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Wednesday in the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Lee Whitener, Ray Harris, Corey Schiestel, Nathan Whitener, Ben Stiles, and Scotty Clark.
