Emily Ann McCormack

EMILY ANN PATTON McCORMACK, age 65  of Athens, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Everett and Annie Kay Anderson Patton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens where she sang in adult and senior choirs. She worked in VBS and loved to tell others about Christ. She was very crafty and enjoyed crocheting. She collected nutcrackers and willow tree angels and loved to laugh. She was preceded in death by her husband David McCormack (June 6, 2004)

Survivors;

• One daughter, Misty and Joshua Stephen Wright of Athens.
• One sister and brother-in-law; Beverly and David Lones of Etowah, TN
• Two grandchildren Joshua David Wright and Jillian Kiara Wright.
• Two nephews  and one niece,
• Special friend, Dan Crawford of Athens.

A memorial service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Athens with Dr.Jason Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm at the church before the service.Those unable to attend may send condolences to www.laycockhobbs.com/notices/Emily-McCormack
