GENEVA CLOE MOSES, age 93 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Thursday, July 24, 2024, at NHC of Athens, Tenn. She was a native and resident most of her life of McMinn County, a daughter of the late Hoyl and Nannie Boyd Womac , and preceded in death by her Husband of 51 years: Leroy Moses, Brothers: Ralph, Lon, Lesgin, Iris and Boyd, and Sisters: Inez, Lucille, Gussie, Keveda. Former employee of Roses Dept. Store and was a member and Pianist of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Survivors: Two Sons and Daughters-in-law: R. Stephen and Nancy Moses of Athens, Tenn. Mike and Marilyn Moses of Madisonville, Tenn. Grandchildren: Ben Moses of Madisonville, Tenn. Thomas and Alexis Moses of Knoxville, Tenn., Great Grandchildren: Ellie and Livy Moses Step Grandchildren: Mark Crabtree of Cookeville, Tenn., Cynthia Crabtree of Athens, Tenn., Step Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Cate, Rebecca McKee, Adrian Frausto, Great Great Grandchild: Alevia McKee, Special Friends: Tony and Mode Frausto, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Shaw officiating. Interment will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 29, 2024 in McMinn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Ben Moses, Thomas Moses, Adrain Frausto, Donnie McKee, Tony Frausto and Scott Williams. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Saturday at the funeral home.
