Godfrey Dolphious Wells

GODFREY DOLPHIOUS WELLS age 78 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his residence.  He was a native of North Adams Massachusetts, and a resident of McMinn County since 1987.  He was the son of the late Arthur and Francis Hewett Wells.  He was a member of Riceville First Baptist Church.  He worked for McDonald's and the DPA as a paper deliverer.  He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Bostic Wells on Sept. 14, 2017.

Survivors include:

• Son and daughter in law: John and Susan Wells  of Athens
• Three Brothers:  Billy Wells, Terry Wells and Noel Wells.
• One sister: Judy
• Two Granddaughters, Jennifer Wells and Cindy Wells

​Memorial Service will be 5:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Riceville First Baptist Church with Rev. William Beasly officiating.
