Helen Marie Anderson

HELEN (MARIE) ANDERSON,  age 74 of Niota, Tenn. passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at her residence. She was a native and longtime resident of McMinn County, Tenn. a daughter of the late Rankin and Geneva Stephens Tallent and preceded in death by her husband: James Anderson. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Calhoun, Tenn. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will always be remembered for the way she loved and cared for others and her generosity.
Survivors: Three Sons: Houston (Lisa) Anderson, Michael Anderson, Brad (Sandy) Anderson, Grandchildren: Josh(Jesse) Anderson, Kiersten Anderson, Jason (Caitliin) Anderson, Morgan Anderson, Jake Anderson, Alex Anderson, Sister: Linda and Jerry Williams, Brother: Daniel and Samantha Tallent,  many nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends.
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Friday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Martin officiating. Interment will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 Friday in the funeral home. Active pallbears will be Evan Chastain, Caleb Lawson, Sammy Tallent, Jason Anderson, Jake Anderson, and Chapman Packs.
