Jackie Julian Knox

Jackie Julian Knox, age 85 of Niota, TN, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. He was the son of the late Ralph Knox and Ruby Powers Spears. He attended flight training at Campbell Airport in Grayslake Illinois and enjoyed flying small planes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved taking trips to the Keys and spending time with his big family and especially his grandkids and great grandkids. 

He is preceded in death by, Brother; Ralph Knox, Sister; Carolene Weaver. 

Survivors: 

Wife of 65 years; Billie Ann Knox of Niota, Daughter; Cindy Rosenthal of Illinois, Daughters and son in laws; Vickie and Ron Boesch Illinois, Trisha and Bill Brekke of Florida. Grandchildren; Stefanie, Brandon (Shannon), Jacqueline, Brittney, Kyle (Erica), Billy (Megan), Rachel, Julian, Brandon (Anita) Boesch, Connor. Great-Grandchildren; Gavin, Gwyneth, Alyssa, Aiden, Sammy, Brayden, Mason, Isabella, Ellisen, Emersen, Kaden, Maxwell, Sanya, Brooklyn, Kendall, Freya. Brother and Sister-in-law: Joe (Faye) Knox. Sisters and Brother-in-law: Linda Duff, Kathy Peterson, Eva (Steve) Williams.

A memorial service will be held at Union McMinn Baptist Church on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00pm with Gabe Brannon Officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at the church.
