Kenneth Earl Elliott, age 94 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2024, in Dominion Assisted Living in Athens, Tenn. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn Conty, Tenn. a son of the late James Earl and Mary Glenna Carroll Elliott and preceded in death by First Wife: Carolyn Hutsell Elliott on March 11, 1999, Son-in-law: Will Donegan, Brothers: Edward (Mattie) Elliott, Clifford (Joan) Elliott, and Sister: Louise (Jack) Kennedy, and Francis (Owens) Crittendon, Sister-in-laws: Betsy Elliott and Joyce Elliott. He retired from DuPont after 40 years of service. He was a member of Sewee Church of God having served on the Board of Directors. He was a SSgt serving in the U. S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict.

Two Daughters and sons-in-law: Sandy (Mike) Neyman of Niota, Tenn., Lori Donegan of Athens, Tenn., Eight Grandchildren: Crystal (Matt) Clarey, Logan Clarey, Emma Clarey, Lacey (Adam) Fiegle, Hannah Gavin, Indiana Fiegle, Stark Fiegle, Emery Smith, Tinley Smith, Krew Mays, Chynna (Drew) Mays, Brandy (Trevor) Wilder, Alfred William (Elizabeth) Donegan IV , Kenneth Alexander Donegan, Katie Elliott, Kalli Elliott. Great grandchildren, Logan Clarey, Emma Clarey, Hannah Fiegle, Gavin Fiegle, Indiana Fiegle, Stark Fiegle, Emery Smith, Tinley Smith, Krew Mays, Madison Wilder, Hunter Wilder, Alfred William "Freddy" Donegan V. Wife of 19 years, Frankie Brown Elliott; Step- Daughters: Sharon (Emmette) Johnson of Athens, Tenn., Step-Son: Jerry Lynn Brown, Daughter: Karen and Jeff McCay of Athens, Tenn. Step grandchildren: Max McCay, Micki Key, Jeremy, and Joey Brown. Step-great grandchildren, Jayden, Kayden, Sevy, Lilly, Landen, Lucas and Sullivan Key. Two Brothers: Cecil Elliott of Athens, Tenn. and Donald Elliott, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Parton officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in Sewee Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Adam Fiegle, Matt Clarey, Tracy Elliott, Max McCay, Wade Elliott, William Donegan and Gavin Fiegle. The family will recieve friends from 5-7 Thursday in the funeral home.
