Linda Gay Hughes

Linda Gay Wattenbarger Hughes, age 73 of Niota, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Summit View Of Farragut.
A native of Meigs County and resident of Niota most of her life and was a daughter of the late Robert Miller and Frankie Mae Cupp Wattenbarger and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Doyle Hughes on December 6, 2020.
She attended Woodward Ave. Church of God and was very involved in Women's Ministry. 
Survivors:
2 sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Linda Hughes of Lenoir City, Chad and Christy Hughes of Niota;
2 sisters, Shirley Loftis of GA and Carolyn and Marvin Norwood of Athens, 
1 sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris and Ronnie Slack of Kingston;
2 grandchildren, Rebecca Hassen, Caleb Hughes;
2Great-grandchildren, Vivian Hassen and Daniel Hassen 
Several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Beulah's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Bill Dawson.
