Linda Lucille Lloyd

LINDA LUCILLE LLOYD,  age 77  of Athens, Tenn. passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Sweetwater Hospital in Sweetwater, Tenn.  She was a native of Rockwood, Tenn., resident of McMinn County, Tenn. most of her life and preceded in death by her Husband: Roscoe E. Lloyd,  mother: Helen Marie Brogden, Son: Calvin (Patricia Gail  Lloyd   Daughter, Ruby Roy, Stepson: Ray Lloyd,   Brother: Rodney Brogden. She was a seamstress and was a member of North Nopone Valley  House of Prayer.
Survivors:  Daughters: Dee and Steve Grubb of Sweetwater, Tenn. Diane and Johnny Gannon of Woodbury, Tenn., Step-Daughter Faye Cain ,  Sister: Marilyn Harrell of Dalton, Ga. Special Step-son: Billy Joe Lloyd, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8, 2024 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Pastor Manuel Brady officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Tellico Plains. Active Eric Lloyd, Ray Lloyd, Christian Elliott, Ricky Gannon, Michael Fritz, Ryan Soper, and Alizia Taylor. The family will receive friends from 2-4 Saturday in the funeral home.
