Linda Gail Torbett

LINDA GAIL TORBETT, age 72, of Sweetwater TN, passed away February 23, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville. A native of McMinn County and a resident of Monroe County, she is the daughter of the late Austin Graves and Lafreida Cornett Tindle. 

She is preceeded in Death by Brother, Ricky Tindle. 

Linda enjoyed camping and riding horses. She loved taking care of animals and her flowers. She also loved spending time with her husband RJ.

Survivors: 

Husband of 52 years, RJ Torbett; 2 Daughters and son-in-laws, Melinda Sneed (Murle Goins) and Kelly (Gary) Thompson; Grandchildren, Bailey Sneed, Raven Thompson, Layken (Noah) Vincent, Layla Sneed, Kammie Sneed, Colton Sneed. GreatGrand Baby, Lettie Mae Vincent. Sister, Sheila (Kendell) Hyde; 2 Brothers, Walt Tindle and Sammy Tindle. Sister in Law, Tammie Tindle

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 1, 2025 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Chestuee cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11-1 prior to the funeral service.
