Maynard Lee Wilson

MAYNARD LEE WILSON, age 82 of Riceville, Tenn. passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 in Tennova Healthcare of Knoxville, Tenn. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn. and a son of the late John and Janie Mae Jamerson Wilson. He was retired from National Linen Co. and Georgia Mountain Water. He was a Gideon, member and Deacon at Eastanallee Baptist Church. A member of Chilhowee Rod and Gun Club. He was a beloved rental landlord to so many for over 45 years and veteran of the U. S. Army.

Survivors: Wife of 65 years: Carolyn Morrison Wilson of Riceville, Tenn. Children: Chris Morrison, Daughter-in-law Brittany Wattenbarger, Travis (Lacey) Morrison, grandchildren: Trinity Morrison, Noah Morrison, Larkin Wattenbarger, Brother: J. B. Wilson of Athens, Tenn. several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in Eastanallee Baptist Church with Mike Fraizer officiating. Interment will follow in Eastanallee Cemetery with military honors. Active pallbearers will be Chris Morrison, Travis Morrison, Noah Morrison, Tracy Wilson, Richard Burgan Scotty Leamon, Dakota Thompson, Gary Landers, Lee Parkison, and Richard Leamon. Honorary pallbearer will be Larkin Wattenbarger. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
