Nathaniel Reed Crye

Nathaniel Reed Crye,  age 30 of Etowah, Tenn. passed away suddenly Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, in Etowah, Tenn. He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., a lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn. and preceded in death by his father: Ricky Crye and grandfather: Charles Croft. 

He was an employee of Waupaca Industries and was of the Baptist Faith. 

Survivors include

• His Mother: Donna Croft Crye of Charleston, Tenn.
• Sister and Brother-in-law: Brandy and Junior Henry and Niece: Amber Henry of Charleston, Tenn., 
• Brother: Joey Crye of Charleston, Tenn.
• Fiance: Tiffany Wheat of Etowah, Tenn.
• Step-children: Layla Campbell, Cradence Campbell, and Hazalee Campbell all of Etowah, Tenn.
• Grandmother: Betty Croft of Athens, Tenn.
• Grandparents: Pat and Jerry Simpson of Niota, Tenn. Leon and Mary Francis Crye of Madisonville, Tenn. 
• Uncles and Wife: Terry and Jan Crye and Scott Croft.
• Aunts and husbands: Debbie and Michael McDonald, Denise and Scott Johnson and Christy Croft.
• Mother-in-law and father-in-law: Sheila and Dennis Curry
• Many special friends and cousins.

​Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Jerry Simpson officiating.

Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Simpson Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Terry Crye, Steven Gambil, Robbie Tice, Jacob Beasley, Dennis Curry, and Isaac Wheat.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 Wednesday in the funeral home.
