Nellie Fern Howell

Nellie Fern Howelll, age 96, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday,
January 17, 2019, while in the excellent loving care at Madisonville Health
& Rehab.
She was born to L. R. Howell and Ovie Bussell Howell in 1922 in Cookeville,
TN.  Nellie was widowed in 1948, when her husband, John Kritikos, passed
away where they lived in Chicago, Illinois.
Nellie was baptized as a Baptist while in elementary school.  She attended
White County High School.  Nellie enjoyed socializing on Saturday afternoons
with friends, who'd meet on the bridge at Burgess Falls.  Her favorite pop
song was 'I Want To Be A Cowboy Sweetheart".  Her favorite hymns were "In
The Garden" and "Throw Out the Life Line:.  Nellie loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Vera Marie and
Jessie Lee; and brothers, Ray T. (Tom) and William Herman (Bill).
She is survived by siblings, Kenneth, Wilma Boylin, and Laverne (Bryant)
Fuqua, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM CST on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at
Rice Cemetery in Burgess Falls in White County, Tennessee.  Those unable to
