Nita W Wilson

Nita W. Wilson age 68 of Athens entered in to her heavenly home peacefully

and calmly on Thursday, January 25, 2018 surrounded by her family at University

of Alabama at Birmingham. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, she was the

daughter of the late Harold C. and  Elizabeth Taylor Williams. Her calling

and heart's desire in this life were caring for and loving her family,

serving the Lord and giving to others. Her great loves were baking,

painting, flower gardening and nurtruring her little dog "Mindy", her cat

"Miss Kitty" and her geese and chickens. She was also looking forward to the

birth of her new great-grandson. She was preceded in death by one brother

Harold C. Williams Jr. and father-in-law ,Roy R. Wilson,

Husband of 50 years, Dan R. Wilson, Sr. of Athens

Two daughters and sons-in-law;

Christina and Tim Plemons of Charleston

Traci and Cody Field of Erwin, TN

Several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday, January 29, 2018 in the chapel of

Laycock Hobbs Funeral Home with Cliff Boggs and Dan Early officiating. The

interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland immediately

following the service. The pallbearers will be Dan Wilson, Jr, Tim Plemons,

Jake Plemons, Will Plemons, Cody Field and Levi Field.
