Ola Mae Simbeck

OLA MAE "Ossie" SIMBECK, age 81 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Sunday, July 21,2024, at her residence. She was native of Maury County, Tenn., resident of McMinn County since 1977, a daughter of the late Cleo and Lucille Roberts Turner and preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Ray Simbeck and Brothers: George Edward Turner, C. W. Turner, Paul Turner, Jerry Turner, Sister: Mable Turner. She retired from Johnson Controls who was one of the first production workers hired and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. 

Survivors: Three Sons and daughter-in-laws: Darrell and Julie Simbeck of Athens, Tenn., Terry and Debbie Simbeck of , Riceville, Tenn., Jon and Amie Simbeck of Athens, Tenn. Five Grandchildren: Jordan Simbeck, Chelsea (Nathan) Hyde, Nathan (Molly) Simbeck, Rachel (Corbin) Powers, and Aaryn Simbeck, Eight Great Grandchildren: Addy Rae, Kai, Cooper, Trace, Ace, Cole, Beck, Azaria and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will gather at McMinn Memory Gardens for a graveside services. There will be no formal visitation.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McMinn County Humane Society.
