Patricia Carlene Brock

PATRICIA "CARLENE' BROCK,  age 82 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Johnson City  Medical Center in Johnson City, Tn. She  was a native of Dalton, Ga., a daughter of the late Carlton and Cora Whitfield,  and preceded in death by a Brother: Cortney Whitfield. She received her Bachelor' Degree and Masters from University of Chattanooa and  taught at McMinn County High School and retired in 1999. She also subbed frequently from 2000 until 2019.  She was a member and taught Sunday School many years  at Eastannallee Baptist Church.

Survivors:

• Husband of 62 years: John David Brock of Athens, Tenn.,
• Daughter: Susan Moses of Athens, Tenn.
• Son: Andy Brock of Johnson City, Tenn.,
• Three Grandchildren: Olivia Moses, Lily Brock, and Baylor Brock,
• Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 14, 2019 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Mike Fraizer officiating. Interment will follow in Eastannallee Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home.
