Pedro A Perez

PEDRO ANGEL PEREZ,  age 95 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Ponce, Pureto Rico, a resident of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for 15 years,  former resident of New York City, New York and resident of Athens, Tenn. for five years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gerardo Perez and Petra Rivera. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was known as a very gentle man and liked to make people smile by telling jokes.  He was a faithfull man and active in the Catholic Faith. 
Survivors: Wife of 28 years: Piedad Aquino of Athens, Tenn.; Sons: Samuel, Jorge, and Pedrito; Daughter: Nancy, Grandchildren: Jennifer, Sasha, Jackeline, Jessie, and Timothy; Two Sisters: Felicita of Pennsylvania and Genoveba of Ponce, Puerto, Rico.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 19, 2023 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father John Orr and Deacon Erasmo Hernandez  officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Family. The family will receive friends from 11:00A.M. to 12:00 Noon Saturday at the church.
