Ronnie Allen 'Pinto Bean' Looney passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, at UT Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. A lifelong resident of McMinn County, Ronnie was an ardent supporter of the Tennessee Volunteers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward (Imogene) Looney and Peggy Smith, as well as his grandparents, Zelma (Thomas) Dickerson and Joe (Frances) Looney. His long-life partner Ester Moore and uncle Glen Smith.
Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Massio (Dru) Looney and Narvelle (Lindsey) McDermott; three grandchildren, Jaylen McDermott, Quincee Looney, and Nicholas Looney; three brothers, James (Carol) Looney, Mark (Von) Looney, Guy (Tiffany) Looney; two sisters, Jacquline Looney and Patsey (Maurice) Pugh; special friends, Ray Moore and Tonya Moore; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends. Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
