Rozella Miller

Rozella Miller, age 81 of Niota, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at Athens Place in Athens, TN. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Anna Mae Cline Maples. She was a member of East Niota Baptist Church and retired from Midland Ross/ Steel City. She loved her family and her church and was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Charles Miller (Nov. 22,1999) and sister, Eva Sue Wallis,
Survivors include;
Two step sons and step daughters-in-law, Steve and Tammy Miller of Smyrna, TN and Randy and Dawana Miller of Niota. Step Daughter, Dianne Miller of Decatur; Five grandchildren, Jared Miller, Jade Mason, Caitlin Miller and Jodie Caldwell. Levi Miller. Great granddaughter, Juliana Mason. Sisters, Betty M. Brantley of Knoxville, Brenda Pickard of Maryville, TN, Brother, Richard Maples of Niota. Nieces and nephews, Whitney Walker of Athens, Brian Bishop of Athens, Angel Watson of Athens.
Graveside service will be 10 am Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jerry Plaster officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Monday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Niota Baptist Church P.O.
