Sally Adline Hill

SALLY ADLINE MOORE HILL, age 82 of Decatur, Tenn. passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024. She was a native of McMinn County, lifelong resident of Meigs and McMinn County, a daughter of the late George Edward and Maggie Lee Russell Moore and preceded in death by her Husband: Doyle Alvin Hill, Two Sons: Ricky Hill and Darrell Hill, Grandson: Adam Maddox, Sisters: Donzella Wallis, Zella Mae "Jo" McClure, Brothers: Bobby Gordon Moore, Ronald Lee Moore, and J. B. Moore. She was full of love enjoying gardening, quilting, being a Home Maker, loving her family and doing things for them and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors: Two Daughters: Lisa Ann Hill of Decatur, Tenn., Debbie and Rev. Randy Maddox of Calhoun, Tenn., Sister: Elsie (Charlie) Gentry of Athens, Tenn., Three Brothers: Jim Moore of Riceville, Tenn., Bud (Myrtle) Moore of Decatur, Tenn., and Lynn Moore of Athens, Tenn., Five Grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, several nieces nephews. 

 Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Nathan Hill, Ian Hill, Noah Hill, Braden Myers, Jayden Chouinard, Isacc Martin, and Alex Martin., Honorary pallbearers will be Grandson, Nephews, and special friends of the family. The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Friday in the Funeral Home.
