Shawn Grant Wilson

SHAWN GRANT WILSON,  age 39 of Riceville, Tenn. passed away April 6, 2019, in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and preceded by Paternal  Grandparents: Homer and Martha  Wilson and Maternal Grandparents: John and Josie Grant. He was a 20 year employee  and Supervisor for   Adient formerly Johnson Controls. . His passion was  to farm. He was a member of Eastanallee  Baptist Church. 
Survivors: Wife: Melissa Ann Smith Wilson of Riceville, Tenn., Daughter: Presleigh Pierce of Etowah, Tenn.,  Mother: Sharon Wilson of Riceville, Tenn. Father: Sam Wilson of Athens, Tenn.,  Brother: Seth and Ginnie Wilson of Riceville, Tenn. special niece and nephew: Blake Wilson and Summer Johnson Mother-in-law: Lynne Duggan.
Funeral services will be 5:00 P.M. Wednesday in Eastanallee Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Webb, Mike  and Heath Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in Riceville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will Seth Wilson, Blake Wilson, Tracy Wilson, Norman Ballentine, Richard Bonnett, Trevin Parkinson, Jeremy Landers, Ryan Shamblin, and Nathan Freeman. The family will recieve friends from 12:00 to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
