Teddy Kevan Graves

TEDDY KEVAN GRAVES,  age 69  of Athens, Tenn. passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023 in Sweetwater Hospital. He was a native of  Meigs County, Tenn., resident of McMinn County most of his life and a son of the late Paul and Faye Graves and preceded in death by Son: Kevin Edward Graves. He retired from Athens Products and worked for Wal-Mart and enjoyed working on cars, camping, and spending time with the Grandkids.  He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. 
Survivors: Wife of 49 years: Lucy Graves of Athens, Tenn. Son and daughter-in-law: Phil and Larae of Athens, Ten., Daughter-in-law: Autumn Graves of Athens, Tenn. Brother and Sister-in-law: Billy and Linda Graves of Athens, Tenn., Darrell and Sheila Graves of Ten Mile, Tenn., Sister: Vanessa " Ticy" Teague of Athens, Tenn.,  Four Grandchildren: Lily Graves, Nolan Graves, Raegan Graves and Wyatt Graves several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Vest officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Darrell Graves, Brandon Graves, Nick Ward, Jeff Graves, Kerry Bowman, and Perry Philpott, Jeff Rice, Scott Williams, and Justin Barnett.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday in the funeral home.
