Theodore Thompson Rogers Jr

THEODORE THOMPSON ROGERS , JR.,  age 58 of Englewood, Tenn. passed away Monday, March 25,  2024, at his residence. He was born in Bradley County, Tenn., lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn. and was a son of the late Theodore Thompson Rogers, Sr. and Sarah "Paddle" Ferguson Rogers and preceded in death Sisters:  JoAnn Rogers. and Pattie Rogers.  He retired from Bowater Paper Mill and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. He competed in Stihl Lumberjack competitions and loved to watch and play football having played for McMinn County High School.
Survivors:
Son: Theodore Thompson "Teddy" Rogers III of Englewood, Tenn. Sister: Cathy Rogers of Athens, Tenn, Best Friend and Former Wife: Brenda Rogers of Englewood, Tenn.  several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Friday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lee Cook, Kenneth Cochran, Kolh Mashburn, Teddy Rogers III, Robbie Carroll, The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P. M. Friday in the funeral home.
