Vera Virginia Bunch

Vera Virginia Davis Bunch, age 88, of Decatur has crossed over to the promise land to be with our Lord and Savior on November 17, 2023. Vera loved her family and was a long time member of  Union Grove Baptist Church. She was loved by so many.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Kenneth Bunch (March 11, 2020);  parents, Hubert Davis and Ollie Wilson (Newell) Howard; son, Michael Bunch; siblings, Helen (Darwin) Millsaps, Juanita (John) Millsaps.
She will forever be remembered and survived by her daughter  Darlene (Mitch) Harden of Decatur; granddaughter, Auburn (Drey) Whitfield of Dayton; great-grandchild, Willow Whitfield; brother, Robert (Shirley) Howard; several nieces and nephews; special angel, Mary McKenzie.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Saturday. November 25, 2023 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dusty Caldwell and Rev. Gary Rolen officiating. The interment will follow at Decatur Cemetery. Pallbearers will Mitch Harden, Drey Whitfield, Jonathan Gibson, Wayne Bunch, Mark Kennedy, John Ferguson The family will receive friends from 10am-12 noon Saturday before the service at the church.
