William Murphy

William Murphy age 80 of Ten Mile, TN  was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2019. A native of Cleveland, Ohio and a resident of Leasburg, North Carolina for 35 years, he was the son of the late George and Josephine Oneill Murphy. He was retired from Valspar Corporation and served in the U.S Marine Corp. He loved God and his family as well as fishing, boating, camping and being outdoors.

 Survivors include:

• Wife of 52 years Margaret Estep Murphy of Ten Mile, TN
• Daughter and son-in-law; Jennifer and James Bryan of Roxboro, NC
• Two sons and daughter-in-law; Tim and Kimberley Murphy of Cookeville; James Murphy and Anca of Madisonville
• 8 grandchildren,
• 10 great-grandchildren
• 11 God-children.

The funeral service will be 4:00 pm Friday, February 22, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ten Mile, TN with the Rev. Curtis Porter officiating.

The interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery after the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm Friday, Feb 22, 2019 before the service at the church.
